3 Core Facts of the Gospel

Jesus isn’t just a good teacher or a moral example – He is God Himself who came to earth in human form. He revealed what God is truly like through His love, compassion, truth, and power. Because Jesus is fully God, His words carry divine authority, and His promises can be trusted. When we look at Jesus, we see the heart of God – a God who wants to be known and in relationship with us.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

John 1:1

Every one of us has sinned – we’ve chosen our own way instead of God’s. The Bible says sin separates us from Him, but Jesus came to bridge that gap. On the cross, Jesus willingly took our place, bearing the punishment we deserved. His death was the ultimate act of love – He gave His life so we could be forgiven, set free, and restored to relationship with God.

Romans 5:8

Three days after His death, Jesus physically rose from the grave. His resurrection proves that He truly is who He said He is – the Son of God – and that sin and death have been defeated forever. Because Jesus is alive, we can have new life too. When we put our faith in Him, we are made new, filled with hope, and promised eternal life with Him.

“He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, ‘that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.'”
