Coastal Kids exists to develop authentic followers of Christ who Connect in Corporate Worship, Grow in Small Groups, and Serve in the Ministries and Missions of Coastal. We believe that discipleship starts in the home and that it is our job to equip parents, engage children with God’s Word, and to see families reach their neighbors. We provide environments and events to help families go, teach the Gospel, and make disciples in their homes and in their neighborhoods.
We believe, as the Bible teaches, that God has placed each of you as the primary disciplers of your children. Our role is to come alongside you and, ideally, echo you as you teach your kids the gospel in the home. Each week, your children will bring home important items. One will be an Activity Page. This page is completed during the session, but besides admiring what your children have done on them, there is an extremely important reason you want this in your hands each week. There is content on them just for you—recap information of the session and family discussion starter and activity ideas. This can be a great help for you during your drive home from worship and also as you have weekly family devotions.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity you have to use the resources being sent home! Ask your child to tell you about the Bible story and what that story teaches us about Christ.
As always, we are here for you. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to any member of our Family Ministries team.
We have an awesome team ready for kids of every age!
Infants are well cared for so that you can fully participate in corporate worship. We have nurseries for children 0-12 months and 1-2 years old. Be sure to bring a diaper bag and any items that might make your child feel more comfortable. We have a paging system should you need to be notified during the service. We ask you to label all bags, bottles, and snacks before dropping your little ones off.
Three and four years old make up our preschool class. Volunteers keep them engaged with activities and games while teaching the truth of the Gospel. Be sure to ask them what they have learned!
Early Elementary, 1st through 3rd graders participate in activities throughout the service to teach the lesson of the gospel in as many ways, as many times as possible. Be sure to ask them what they've learned.
Late Elementary, 4th and 5th graders meet for "45th Street" where they participate in activities, songs, and small groups learning how to connect, grow and serve at Coastal.
Save time by registering your children early!
We always want to know the specific needs of your family, so we can take care of your kids best. For this reason, we have all new families fill out a registration form. If you'd like to come prepared, email our Director to get the sheet ahead of time!
Don't be stressed about making it to service on time! Be sure to come early to give yourself plenty of time to meet the team, drop your kids off, and grab a cup of coffee before heading into the sanctuary.
