COASTAL STUDENTS

Coastal Students exists to further the mission of Coastal Church by creating a space for teenagers to connect in worship and teaching, grow in biblical community through small groups, and serve the church and the world, both locally and globally. It’s our desire for every student to find biblical community (Hebrews 10:25) and to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

WHAT to expect

We gather together from 6:30pm – 8pm for fellowship, discipleship, gospel centered teaching, and age and gender based small groups.

Students do not have to preregister; simply join us.

We gather together on Wednesdays from 6:30pm – 8pm at 6686 Hickory Fork Road, Hayes, VA 23072 in our Student Space

Students do not have to preregister; simply join us.

What happens in a student group?

Each group time includes hanging out, games, teaching from the Bible, and gender and age specific small group discussions. It’s a safe place to ask questions, grow in your faith, and be encouraged by other students your age.

Who leads the groups?

All groups are led by trained adult leaders who love Jesus and love students. Each leader goes through a background check and training to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Is there a cost to join?

Nope! Student groups are completely free. Occasionally, we may have special events, retreats, or camps that involve a cost, but group gatherings themselves are always free.

Can I invite my friends?

Absolutely! Student groups are open to anyone in middle school or high school, whether or not they attend Coastal Church.

We encourage parents to join our parent email list for updates on what’s happening in Coastal Students.
