CareNet

Care Net is a life-affirming ministry that offers hope to women facing unplanned pregnancies. By supporting Care Net, you help provide the compassionate care, practical resources, and encouragement women need to choose life for their baby and step into their future with confidence.

Food Mission

The Coastal Food Mission is an outreach ministry that distributes food once a month from our Yorktown Campus. We get the privilege of serving over 300 families from across the Virginia Peninsula. Many of the people we serve come to know the love of Jesus and become part of the Coastal family.

Food Distribution is every third Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Volunteers arrive at 8:30 a.m. and are usually done by 12:30 p.m.

Freekind

Freekind exists to prevent human trafficking in our communities and support survivors on their journey to freedom. More than that, we unleash the power of kindness to help restore the humanity stolen from them, offering grace to the most vulnerable in our communities as they regain their freedom, their sense of hope, and their sense of belonging.

Want to get involved with sharing the gospel and meeting the needs of our community? We serve lunch every Monday at Parkview Baptist Church in downtown Newport News.

Volunteers are there from 11:30AM – 1:30PM serving and interacting with those who come.

Grove

Recognizing the need of vulnerable families in the Greater Williamsburg area, Grove Christian Outreach Center became its own nonprofit charitable organization in 2004 with a focus on providing food, clothing and financial assistance to those in need.

Peninsula Rescue Mission

Since April 1966, there has been an open door for homeless men on the peninsula. PRM, or Peninsula Rescue Mission, offers a bed with fresh linens, shower, clean clothes, a hot meal (this is where we come in), and a gospel ministry that is all without charge to men in need. Thousands upon thousands of men have found help and a warm welcome through Peninsula Rescue Mission’s doors.
