Beginnings: Seeds Of Faith

An investigation of the life of Abraham (Genesis 12-22) and his faith journey.  Abraham listened to the voice of God and obeyed in faith. Faith always comes with a measure of risk and trust in God and His Word. Abraham heard, believed and obeyed, and his faith was credited as righteousness.  The Apostle Paul reminds us that all of us who have been saved by grace through faith are children of Abraham (Galatians 3:6-9).  My prayer is that the life of Abraham encourages and challenges us in our own journeys of faith with Jesus Christ.

We live in a world that is no different than those who have gone before us.  For thousands of years, the broader culture has attempted to distort God's Word in an effort to sabotage its meaning.  Much like churches during the time of the apostles, churches today are affected by the ramifications of distorting God's Word.  Over the next several weeks, we will look at specific biblical topics our culture distorts and allow God's Word to take what has been distorted and make it clear for us again.  We pray our series, "Distorted" will encourage you and instill in you a confidence for the authority and sufficiency of Scripture.

Greater Than: A Study in Hebrews

The book of Hebrews was written to encourage believers to persevere in their faith because of the supremacy of Christ.  Jesus is our great High Priest and intercedes on our behalf and gives us rest.  He is described in Hebrews as the author and finisher of our faith and the guarantee of our salvation.  Join us during this series as we discover the power and authority of Jesus Christ and put our trust in Him as God, who is greater than all.

God is laying a bold vision in front of each of us at Coastal Community Church.  This series was birthed from Ephesians 3:20-21 which states, " Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.  Glory to Him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen" (NLT).  In this series, we will examine this verse and consider the higher purpose of the vision God has called us to and how we can accomplish it together as His bride.

Coastal because...

We are expecting a lot of big changes at Coastal this year as we continue to grow.  The foundations that Coastal Community Church is built on will never change.  There are issues and beliefs of eternal significance that are the core of what defines our church.  Join us for our series "Coastal because” as we examine the DNA of Coastal and commit to stand firm on our essential doctrines.

Pictures of Christmas

The coming of Jesus was foretold thousands of years before He was born.  It was always God's plan to send His Son to come to earth as a man to redeem His people from their sins.  Join us this Christmas season as we look at the birth of Christ through the eyes of different people in the Bible and see how God's plan unfolded.

Strength and Courage

In less then 9 months Coastal will be gathering for corporate worship in a new location.  As we look at the book of Joshua, we see that the nation of Israel also had an exciting future as they moved into the Promised Land.  With moving, comes change, and change presents challenges.  The same God that led Joshua is the same God that leads us today.  We can move with the strength and courage that God provides through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Everyone has a creed they live by, even if they don't call it a creed.  For hundreds of years the early church used the Apostle's Creed as a summary of their essential doctrines and beliefs.  In this series, We'll see that Coastal holds to the same truths (rooted in God's Word) that the church has confessed for 2000 years.

All Things New

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)
