Since April 1966, there has been an open door for homeless men on the Peninsula. PRM offers the provision of a bed with fresh linens, a shower, clean clothes, a hot meal (this is where we come in), and a gospel...Learn more
Coastal Outreach exists to develop authentic followers of Jesus Christ by carrying the Gospel locally and around the world. Jesus Christ and His Gospel are the goals of all of our missions. We believe that the church has been commissioned to go and make disciples everywhere. The church has been equipped by God, the Holy Spirit, to complete the tasks of spreading the Gospel and making disciples.
Coastal Outreach supports ministries and other efforts connected exclusively with other theologically compatible local churches here and abroad. We believe that it is critical that anyone who is reached by the Gospel have access to a local church where they can develop and grow. The local church is God's plan for discipleship, and we certainly should follow this model.
Coastal Outreach will be strategic to support ministries that have an authentic relational component with the leadership of Coastal and transparent accounting practices. In today's cultural climate, it is imperative that we are diligent to vet any ministry for whom we will be providing financial support. We take seriously the trust that our local body puts in the leadership to be proper stewards of the funds that God provides.
Coastal Outreach focuses its financial and human resources on a few ministries and countries with the goal of long-term relationships. This is not about our success, but about the eternal impact that God will have in an individual, church and community by faithful service and dedication.

Our team had the privilege of visiting Pastor Raylor, his wife Ellie, and their orphanage near the border of Myanmar. They regularly receive orphans found among the Myanmar refugees. Together, Raylor and Ellie mentor about 20 young and boys and girls teaching them the truth of God's Word. They have chosen to live there with the children.
In addition to this, he is the pastor of the church located on the orphanage property. It is open, not only to the children but to the public as well.
Pastor Raylor is bi-vocational. The orphanage and church are certainly full-time ventures, but to be able to financially survive, he is also a public school teacher nearby.
Coastal is currently his only support. Pray that God would grow the vision of this ministry and bring additional supporters to help fund the orphanage and church, and to help Raylor and Ellie be able to give their full-time attention to these ministries.
